What Jewelry means to me.....
To me, Jewelry, as a photograph, provides us with a deep emotional memory.
We may not remember where we were and what we were doing on a certain day of our life, however, when I look down on my finger, and look at my wedding ring, I clearly remember how I felt when my husband placed it there. When I open my jewelry box and put on my sapphire pendant, I am flooded with feelings of my college graduation and the pride my parents felt when they gave it to me.
These emotions and feelings are not easy to duplicate, but holding a physical piece of jewelry in our hands gives us glimpses into the past and precious memories to hold onto, and possibly pass on to the next generation.
